How we source
Shared work
Part of what we ship is grown on our own land in North Minahasa. The rest we buy from growers in the surrounding highlands. All of it is graded when it arrives, then put together for shipment.
Grade, moisture and packing are agreed in writing before loading. Specs follow the order and the harvest, not a fixed catalogue.
Mapalo comes from Mapalus, the Minahasa habit of neighbours taking turns on each other's fields. That is how we try to work with farmers and with buyers.
The region
A northern shipping position
North Sulawesi sits at the top of Indonesia. The soil grows coconut, nutmeg and clove well, and Bitung is closer to East and Southeast Asian trade routes than most Indonesian ports.
We want that to count for grade and timing, not only for cheap volume.

How to pay
Incoterms, documents and currency (USD or IDR) are confirmed in writing before the order moves ahead.
100% payment in advance
We stand behind what we ship, and the price reflects that.
50% deposit / 50% balance
For buyers we already work with: 50% deposit when the order is placed, 50% before shipping documents go out.
